A new tourism development is being proposed in Rebucon, Kolambugan, Lanao del Norte — the Kolambugan Coastal Eco-Tourism Gateway. The project is envisioned as a new destination that will showcase the municipality’s coastal and marine resources while boosting tourism, supporting local businesses, and creating livelihood opportunities for residents. It is also designed to serve as a gateway for visitors to explore Kolambugan’s coastal attractions while promoting sustainable tourism and greater appreciation and protection of the area’s natural resources. The concept design was prepared by Mario A. Rufino, LPT, and Engr. Tomas E. Alaura Jr.
