Candidate No. 12, Kriezl Jane Vitorillo Torres of Barangay Tablon, emerged as the early frontrunner for the Miss Cagayan de Oro 2026 crown after capturing seven of the 16 Corporate Awards presented during the preliminary competition held on Saturday, August 1, at the SM CDO Downtown Event Hall. Torres, who previously won Miss Philippines Earth – Eco Tourism 2025 while representing Talakag, Bukidnon, became the standout candidate and strengthened her bid for the coveted title in the 61st edition of Cagayan de Oro’s premier beauty pageant.
