The PHIVIDEC Industrial Authority (PHIVIDEC IA) has signed a partnership agreement with Jaindi Philippines Corporation to establish an integrated coconut processing facility inside the PHIVIDEC Industrial Estate in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental. Backed by Sri Lanka’s Jaindi Export (Pvt.) Ltd., the $ 12.8 million investment will be developed in two phases and will produce a wide range of high-value coconut products. The project is expected to generate jobs, strengthen support for coconut farmers, promote technology transfer, and boost Northern Mindanao’s agri-industrial sector while enhancing the Philippines’ competitiveness in the global coconut industry.
Phase 1, with an investment allocation of $ 9.27 million, will focus on establishing core processing facilities, developing essential infrastructure, and launching initial product lines. Phase 2, supported by an additional $ 3.5 million, will drive production expansion, product diversification, and the integration of advanced technologies to enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness.


Jaindi Exports (Pvt) Ltd, operating under the brand Econutrena, is a Sri Lanka-based manufacturer and exporter of coconut-based food and beverage products. The company offers a diverse range of products, including coconut products, organic spices, fruits, Ayurvedic items, and beverages for the global market.

The project will produce a wide range of high-value coconut-based products, including virgin coconut oil, desiccated coconut, coconut flour, coconut milk powder, coconut cream, aseptic coconut milk and cream, coconut water products, coconut shell charcoal, and other innovative coconut-derived products.
