Following the landslide that affected the Marahan section of the Bukidnon–Davao Road in Marilog District, Davao City, motorists traveling between Bukidnon and Davao are advised to take the temporary alternate route via Katipunan–Datu Ladayon (Anutong Mountain Riverview Resort) before reconnecting with the national highway. The detour, which consists of approximately 3 kilometers of gravel road and 5 kilometers of concrete road, is passable only to light vehicles and motorcycles. Meanwhile, bus operations remain uninterrupted through a transfer system where passengers are required to disembark and walk approximately 150 meters across the affected area, and board another bus waiting on the opposite side bound for either Bukidnon or Davao.
Here’s the alternate route. Both Datu Ladayon and Katipunan are within the jurisdiction of the Municipality of Arakan in Cotabato Province.

The general public particularly trucks and other heavy vehicles are advised to use the Maramag-Carmen-Kabacan-Digos Road for transit between Bukidnon and Davao City.
