Bukidnon 1st District Congressman Jose Manuel F. Alba, together with Sumilao Mayor Venice Marie P. Villo, municipal officials, employees, and students of the USTP Claveria–Sumilao Extension Class, led the groundbreaking ceremony for the Sumilao Municipal Government Complex in Purok 5, Barangay Poblacion. Once completed, the complex will initially serve as the school’s temporary home while efforts continue to secure its designation as an official USTP satellite campus. Scheduled for completion by January 2027, the project’s first phase includes an eight-classroom building, an administration building, a covered court with a stage, a main gate and perimeter fencing, and a waiting shed, bringing higher education closer to students in Sumilao.
