The PHIVIDEC Industrial Authority has signed a lease agreement with Philnewriver Power Corporation (PPC), a renewable energy developer that will build a 15.3-kilometer, 69kV transmission line connecting the NGCP Villanueva Substation to the 3.7-megawatt Malitbog and 3.7-megawatt Silo-o Hydroelectric Power Plants in Malitbog, Bukidnon. Covering 16,997 square meters across Villanueva and Tagoloan, the project is expected to strengthen power infrastructure in the area while creating employment opportunities for both regular workers and contractors.
