It rained hailstones in San Luis, Malitbog, Bukidnon on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. In a viral video shared by Wang Jaguar, residents were caught by surprise when what started as a normal downpour suddenly included small pieces of ice falling from the sky. These ice pellets were hail, formed when raindrops are lifted high into cold parts of the atmosphere by a strong thunderstorm, causing them to freeze before falling to the ground. The rare hailstorm amazed residents as small pieces of ice covered parts of the area during the sudden thunderstorm.
