Jannah Vebs Rabago Balaman of San Fernando, Bukidnon, a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy graduate, made history as the sole Summa Cum Laude of Bukidnon State University’s Class of 2026—the first in BukSU’s history since 1991 and only the third since the institution was founded in 1924. She achieved an impressive final General Weighted Average (GWA) of 1.18, nearly a perfect academic record. Beyond her academic excellence, Jannah is also a beauty queen, having placed 4th Runner-Up in Ms. BukSU 2024, 1st Runner-Up in Ms. College of Business 2024, and represented San Fernando, Bukidnon in the Ms. World Philippines-Bukidnon pageant. Congratulations, Jannah, for proving that excellence comes in many forms!
