The City Government of Cagayan de Oro is planning to develop an integrated transport terminal in Barangay Lumbia. As disclosed by City Mayor Rolando “Klarex” Uy during his State of the City Address held today, June 15, 2026, in celebration of the city’s 76th Charter Day at El Pueblo A Sus Heroes Park, the proposed Lumbia Integrated Terminal is envisioned to be a modern, efficient, and commuter-friendly hub that will accommodate provincial bus operations, urban transport links, and essential passenger amenities. It is expected to primarily serve south-bound routes and public transport connections to the city’s hinterland areas.
