Golf enthusiasts and outdoor lovers now have a new destination in Bukidnon with the opening of Talakag Sports & Country Club, an 18-hole, par-62 course located in Sitio Piguranan, Barangay Sto. Niño, just about 40 minutes from Cagayan de Oro. Set amid scenic mountain landscapes, the course offers rolling, hilly fairways that are both enjoyable and challenging, framed by breathtaking views and cool countryside air that create a refreshing blend of sport and leisure. Open Monday to Saturday from 5:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., the club strictly requires advance booking, with no walk-in players allowed.
Getting There: From Uptown Cagayan de Oro (Masterson Avenue), head toward Talakag Proper. From Talakag Plaza, continue along Route 945, then pass Sto. Niño Elementary School. After approximately 700 meters, you will reach a junction marked by a large mango tree on the left with a directional signage—turn left toward Piguranan.
