Cagayan de Oro’s rapidly growing pickleball community is set to welcome three more modern facilities in the coming weeks. Paddle Play, located along St. Therese Street in Kauswagan near Homecourt, will officially open on June 8 and features five dedicated pickleball courts, with bookings already being accepted. Meanwhile, Sideout is targeting a July opening in Barra, Opol, Misamis Oriental, and is poised to become one of the region’s premier pickleball destinations with seven indoor courts. Also joining the lineup is Courtly, located along Gumamela Street in Carmen, which will offer premium indoor courts. These upcoming facilities will further expand playing opportunities for pickleball enthusiasts in Cagayan de Oro and neighboring areas as the sport continues to gain momentum across Northern Mindanao.

Meanwhile, the exact location of Sideout near the National Highway in Barra, Opol has yet to be disclosed. However, with plans for seven indoor pickleball courts, the facility is expected to occupy one of the area’s larger warehouse-type buildings capable of accommodating a venue of that scale.
