Four cadets from Cagayan de Oro are among the 207 graduates of the Philippine Military Academy “Talang Dangal” Class of 2026, set to graduate on May 16, 2026. They are Pauline Jhun C. Amper, Lawrence E. Cabahit, Mel Evan Y. Caniedo, and Kent Michael V. Yaba. The graduation marks the culmination of four years of rigorous military and academic training under the “Talang Dangal” (Tagapagtanggol ng Lahing Dakila at Marangal) Class, meaning “Defenders of a Noble and Honorable Race,” with Amper, Cabahit, and Caniedo set to join the Philippine Army, while Yaba will serve in the Philippine Navy.
