Misamis Occidental Governor Henry S. Oaminal led the groundbreaking of the ₱10-million Botanical Garden, a project set to complete the Asenso Global Gardens Eco-Tourism Park located in Hoyohoy, Tangub City. Joining the ceremony were TIEZA Chief Operating Officer Mark Lapid, Department of Tourism Regional Director Marie Elaine S. Unchuan, provincial officials, and Tangub City officials led by Mayor Sabiano Canama. The event was also witnessed by candidates of Miss Universe Philippines 2026.
