PROJECT WATCH: Emerald Street in Gusa opens as one-way link to Coastal Bypass Road

Emerald Street in Gusa, Cagayan de Oro City has been temporarily opened to traffic as a one-way route leading to the Coastal Bypass Road. The 425-meter stretch is currently limited to westbound light vehicles and motorcycles to help improve traffic flow in the area. However, motorists who have used the road are urging authorities to strictly enforce a no-parking policy on both sides and prohibit trisikads from counterflowing to ensure safer and smoother travel.

Emerald Street is located just before Gusa Overpass. A signage is put up onsite.

While there are NO PARKING signs installed. You can still see parked vehicles along Emerald Street.

Emerald Street is a narrow 2-lane street with no provisions for parking.

The Coastal Bypass Road (Gusa-Puerto Section) is still ongoing.

Motorists using Emerald are prohibited to turn left at Coastal Road Junction.
