The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) is set to launch its much-awaited College of Nursing in August this year. The announcement was made by Cagayan de Oro 2nd District Representative Rufus Rodriguez following a USTP Board of Trustees meeting held via Zoom on January 14, 2026, presided over by CHED Chairperson Shirley Agrupis. The university has also named the pioneering faculty members of the program, led by Jan Michael R. Remolado, MAN, RN, LPT, who will serve as the first dean of the College of Nursing
