The husband of a call center agent has admitted to killing his wife, whose lifeless body was found in a grassy area early Saturday, December 13, in Talisay, Barangay Indahag, Cagayan de Oro City. Authorities confirmed that the suspect voluntarily confessed during the investigation, helping clarify the circumstances surrounding the crime. Police are now preparing the appropriate charges against the suspect.
The victim was identified as Gracelyn A. Ramayrat, 37, a resident of Barangay Indahag, Cagayan de Oro. Police said initial information revealed that she had previously complained of domestic abuse by the suspect, identified as John Lloyd Ramayrat, 29, but chose not to separate for the sake of their children. Initial investigations also indicated that the couple had a heated altercation while walking on Friday night, which reportedly led to the incident.

It can be recalled that the husband (in brown shirt) was even seen at the scene, sobbing, after his wife’s body was discovered.
