Repower Energy Development Corporation (REDC), through its subsidiary Maramag Hydropower Corporation, has officially broken ground on the ₱6.3-billion, 25-MW Pulangi IV Hydropower Project in Bukidnon. In its disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange, REDC said the run-of-river plant will tap the downstream portion of the Pulangi River, the same system that powers its recently completed upstream facility. Once operational, the project will boost Mindanao’s renewable energy capacity and bring benefits to surrounding communities. It is also expected to generate around 800 construction jobs, prioritizing workers from Maramag and nearby areas.

REDC recently commissioned its 18.2 MW Pulanai run-of-river hydropower project located at the border of Valencia City and San Fernando.
