The launching of steel beams for the Pedestrian Overpass Project at Malasag Junction in Cugman, Cagayan de Oro City took place early today, November 30. Many motorists, however, were unaware of the activity and were caught off guard, causing heavy traffic in the area. This came after another night of heavy congestion along the Gusa–Cugman stretch of the National Highway. The overpass is one of two footbridge projects underway in Cugman, the other located at Cugman Proper.
