For the third year in a row, a student from Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan (XU) has been named Regional Champion in the 29th Philippine Statistics Quiz (PSQ) held on November 6, 2025, in Cagayan de Oro City. Jude Mari Arubio, a BS Nursing student, topped 14 other contestants from Northern Mindanao. Meanwhile, Ivan Xavier E. Retardo and Karl Hugh Brent Limpo, both from MSU-IIT, won second and third place, respectively. Congratulations!
All three top winners received PSQ-designed plaques and cash prizes. The cash awards for the regional champions were generously sponsored by the Provincial Government of Misamis Oriental headed by Honorable Governor Juliette T. Uy.
The following are the Top 10 winners of the Northern Mindanao 29th PSQ Regional Championships:
