The Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) and the Provincial Government of Bukidnon have agreed to designate the Bukidnon Sports Complex in Laguitas, Malaybalay City as the new training hub for the national boxing team. With its modern facilities, cool climate, and strong sports community, the complex is ideal for developing future boxing champions. Karate Pilipinas and Sepak Takraw athletes are also set to train there soon. The initiative highlights Bukidnon’s growing role in national sports and honors its homegrown talents, including Olympic medalist Carlo Paalam.
