LTFRB allows RTMI to continue “Dawat-Dawat System” at Overview Park; more buses deployed for Undas travel rush

The LTFRB–Northern Mindanao (LTFRB-10) has allowed Rural Transit Mindanao Inc. (RTMI) to continue implementing its “Dawat-Dawat” or “Tabo System” at Overview Park in Palacapao, Quezon, Bukidnon, after initially planning to suspend it due to safety concerns. Following a meeting with RTMI officials, the agency issued a special permit for the Cagayan de Oro–Quezon, Bukidnon and Davao City–Quezon, Bukidnon routes to ensure continuous service, giving passengers the option to use the system. RTMI has also set up tents and umbrellas in the area to enhance passenger comfort and safety. In preparation for the All Saints’ and All Souls’ Day travel rush, RTMI has increased the number of buses on the CDO–Davao via Talaingod route from 9 to 21 units to provide smoother and safer travel for commuters.
