Raki-Yata’s Ramen Challenge 2.0 heats up with initial record holders

How fast can you finish a bowl of ramen? Raki-Yata’s Ramen Challenge 2.0 is heating up! A cash prize of ₱30,000 awaits the next Ramen Champion. Contestants will battle it out to set record times across three “ramen battlefields” — SM City CDO Uptown (North Wing), SM CDO Downtown, and Ayala Malls Centrio, all in Cagayan de Oro City. The challenge ends on November 28. Check out the current record holders from each branch below!

Centrio Ayala Mall – Charles Yu (5 minutes, 41 seconds)

SM CDO Downtown – Harvey Culanag (4 minutes, 20 seconds)

SM City CDO Uptown North Wing – Mackie Lapay (6 minutes, 58 seconds)

The ramen eating challenge is until November 28.

In last year’s inaugural ramen challenge, Jessie James Pepito walked away with the grand prize of ₱25,000 with a record time of 2 minutes and 24 seconds.
