Cagayan de Oro City once again takes center stage in regional development as it hosts the 2nd Mindanao Infrastructure Summit on October 22–23, 2025, at Xavier Sports and Country Club, bringing together government officials, business leaders, planners, and key stakeholders to discuss major infrastructure priorities across the island. With the theme “Building a Better Mindanao: Advancing Inclusive, Competitive, Climate and Disaster-Resilient Infrastructure,” the summit comes at a crucial time following the recent collapse of a section of the Bukidnon–Davao Road in Quezon, Bukidnon, a vital transport corridor in Mindanao, underscoring the urgent need for resilient infrastructure planning and stronger collaboration to ensure sustainable growth and connectivity throughout the region.

Participants can look forward to insightful presentations, investment discussions, and networking opportunities designed to foster partnerships that will drive Mindanao’s economic transformation.
Cagayan de Oro’s hosting of the summit reaffirms its role as a strategic hub for commerce and infrastructure development in Northern Mindanao and the greater Mindanao region.
