Details of the Laguindingan International Airport Development Plan have been revealed. According to the Project Description for Public Scoping of the proposed ₱5.15-billion project by Aboitiz InfraCapital Inc., uploaded on the EMB-10 website, the plan includes the west expansion and modification of the Passenger Terminal Building (PTB), apron area expansion, construction of a new cargo building, a new landside commercial strip, and expansion of airport maintenance facilities. It also covers improvements to the central, southeast, and southern carparks, development of a southern staging area, public transport hub, accredited transport hub, and the expansion of the power house, portable water treatment, and sewage treatment plants. Construction is targeted for completion by 2028.
