City Mayor Rolando “Klarex” Uy, along with the Board of Directors and Management of the Cagayan de Oro City Water District (COWD), Barangay Iponan officials, and representatives from South Balibago Resources, Inc. (SBRI), led the commissioning of an additional 4.32 million liters per day (MLD) bulk water supply from SBRI on October 9, 2025, in Bulao, Barangay Iponan. This milestone marked a major step toward strengthening the city’s water security, improving service reliability, and expanding coverage—especially for the rapidly growing Barangay Iponan and its neighboring communities.
