A netizen captured on video a man sawing off and stealing railings at the Macanhan Flyover in Carmen, Cagayan de Oro City. The video, shared by 102.5 Brigada News FM CdeO, showed the suspect using a hacksaw while a companion with a sidecar waited nearby, suggesting the stolen parts were being collected for scrap. The incident, which reportedly happened around 2:00 a.m., drew reprimands from passersby and motorists but the suspect continued his actions over the past few days. By Wednesday morning, a City Hall employee who visited the site found that several railings were already missing, posing a danger to motorists using the flyover.
