PROJECT WATCH: Pedestrian Overpass Project now underway near DSWD-10

Construction of the first of two pedestrian overpass projects in Uptown Cagayan de Oro is now underway, with the first column already rising near the DSWD Regional Office. Originally planned near Stonestown Suites, the project was relocated due to right-of-way (ROW) issues. With a budget of ₱24.132 million, it is being implemented by Lanao Builder and Enterprises and Red Construction Technik. The completion target has also been moved from October 2025 to January 2026. Meanwhile, the second overpass planned near Corpus Christi School remains delayed due to ROW issues.
