The Philippine Men’s Under-23 National Team closed their 2026 AFC U-23 Asian Cup Qualifiers campaign with a commanding 4-0 victory over Nepal at the Republican Central Stadium in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. Javi Mariona, who traces his roots to Cagayan de Oro, converted a penalty in the 39th minute to double the lead before halftime. Otu Banatao, Dov Cariño, and Sandro Reyes also found the back of the net to seal the win.
