Xavier University has announced that its Manresa El Gaucho Farm in Bugo, Cagayan de Oro will now officially serve as a satellite campus and laboratory for its College of Agriculture. In a memo dated September 1, 2025, University President Mars P Tan SJ stated that the facility will support instruction, research, extension, and production programs, while strict policies are in place to ensure safety and biosecurity. University officials are optimistic the farm will become a hub of agricultural innovation and a key driver of Xavier’s agricultural programs.
