The Sangguniang Bayan of Jimenez, Misamis Occidental has declared vlogger Christine Medalla also known as “Thine Medalla” as persona non grata throughout the municipality. SB Resolution No. 150-2025, approved on August 8, 2025, was issued following the circulation of a video on social media showing her deliberately and maliciously spitting on the baptismal font inside St. John the Baptist Church—an act deemed gravely offensive, sacrilegious, and a direct insult to the sanctity of the place of worship and the faith of the local community. The incident also prompted the temporary closure of the church.
