Entrepreneurs, innovators, and aspiring business owners gathered at FatChef Downtown for a dynamic and inspiring afternoon during the Parasat Parafiber Tech Talks: Empowering the Kagay-anon Entrepreneur. The event last July 30 brought together local industry leaders and business visionaries to share insights, challenges, and solutions that fuel enterprise growth in today’s digital era.

The event formally began at 2:45 PM with Engr. Elpidio M. Paras, President of Parasat HD, delivering the opening remarks. He emphasized the company’s mission to support local businesses by delivering high-speed and reliable digital solutions through Parafiber Business, bridging innovation with community empowerment.

The first keynote speaker, Mr. John Caballero, IT Director of Support Zebra, captivated the audience with a compelling talk on how their business transformed from a startup into a global support powerhouse. He shared valuable lessons on leadership, adaptation, and the use of technology as a backbone of scalable growth.

Following him was Ms. Jocelyn Gogo, CEO and Owner of PRO IS International Christian School System, who delivered a heartfelt and powerful story of how her educational institution started from humble beginnings and blossomed into an institution of impact. She opened up about the challenges they faced, the risks they took, and how faith and perseverance played a central role in their journey.

Rounding off the speaker lineup, Mr. Ben Melasa, Vice President of Sales of Parasat HD, presented the Parafiber Business solutions, giving attendees a closer look at how Parasat can support entrepreneurs with enterprise-grade internet and managed services tailored to local businesses. He also gave the closing remarks, expressing gratitude to the speakers, guests, and the growing community of entrepreneurs choosing to go beyond limits with Parasat.
