Over 100 contingents are expected to join the Higalaay Civic Military Parade and Float Competition on August 27, 2025, one of the core events of the Higalaay Festival celebrating the feast of Saint Augustine, the patron saint of Cagayan de Oro. This was disclosed during today’s coordination meeting conducted by the City Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office, where preparations for the safety and security of participants and spectators were discussed. Registration for the parade and float competition is open only until August 8.
