Koufuku, the Japanese restaurant at Pueblo de Oro Business Park in Uptown Cagayan de Oro known for its authentic sushi and refined dining experience, celebrated its first anniversary today, July 20, with a special 10-course omakase-style lunch.

Omakase, which means “I leave it up to you,” is a Japanese dining style where guests entrust the chef to prepare a meal based on what is freshest and best that day. Koufuku’s anniversary omakase lunch embodied this tradition, allowing diners to savor a journey of flavors crafted to celebrate the restaurant’s milestone.

The anniversary offering featured a carefully curated menu showcasing the freshest seasonal ingredients, highlighting the Japanese chef’s mastery of traditional Japanese techniques and flavors. Guests were treated to an elevated dining experience with courses including appetizers Edamami, Sushi, Agidashi Tofu, main courses Ribeye, California Maki, Tempura, Salmon Misoyaki and other signature dishes prepared with meticulous attention to detail.
