Bukidnon’s population has reached 1,601,902, according to the 2024 census released by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA). Excluding its two component cities—Valencia and Malaybalay—the municipality of Manolo Fortich is the most populous with 118,075 residents, followed by Quezon (114,152) and Maramag (109,864). Bills have been filed in Congress seeking cityhood for both Manolo Fortich and Maramag. Meanwhile, Malitbog registered the highest population growth rate in the province at 1.68%.
