Cagayan de Oro City recorded a population of 741,617 as of July 1, 2024, according to the latest census released by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA). Carmen remains the most populous barangay with 78,612 residents, followed by Balulang with 42,712, Kauswagan with 41,356, and Lapasan with 40,498. Meanwhile, Barangay 39 is the least populated, with only 12 residents.
