Danilo Daroy, who once worked as a contractual meter reader and plumber for the Cagayan de Oro Water District (COWD) under the Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA) in the 1990s, has been appointed by President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. as Acting Member of the LWUA Board of Trustees. Daroy took his oath yesterday in Manila. In a Facebook post, he shared that he never imagined, even in his wildest dreams, that he would hold a national position, given his humble beginnings as a job order worker. Prior to his appointment, he served as Municipal Councilor of Opol, Misamis Oriental. Congratulations!
