Phase 3 of Project Lunhaw – the Divisoria Redevelopment covering JR Borja and Kiosko Kagawasan Park – is nearly finished, with only minor landscaping and final touches left. The park is already open to the public, but its formal inauguration is scheduled tomorrow, June 11, ahead of Cagayan de Oro City’s 75th Charter Day celebration on June 15. While the historic JR Borja Monument and Kiosko Kagawasan were preserved, the redevelopment added modern features such as permeable pavements, enhanced greenery, and upgraded lighting to create a greener, more inviting public space.
