Althea Pores, the reigning Philippine Games and Amusement Board Women’s Junior Flyweight Champion from Claveria, Misamis Oriental, is making her return to the Philippine Women’s Amateur Boxing Team. Now based in Tagbilaran City, Bohol, Pores originally honed her skills with the Cagayan de Oro Boxing Team and has proudly represented the country in various international boxing tournaments. Her decision to return to the national amateur squad, confirmed by PMI Boxing Stable, is fueled by her aspiration to win gold in global competitions and pursue her ultimate dream of competing in the Olympics.
Althea Pores defeated Iligan City’s Maria Theresa Pinili last July 2024 to become the GAB Light Flyweight Champion.

In December 2024, Pores scored a 33-second first round knockout of Thai Pimchanok Thepjanda to improve her record to 6-0-1 with 2 knockouts.
