Senator JV Ejercito has withdrawn from the Northern Mindanao Loop 2025 after sustaining a minor injury in a motorcycle accident on the first day of the regional tourism ride. In a Facebook post, the senator—an advocate for motorcycle tourism and road safety—shared photos of himself in a wheelchair and while undergoing an x-ray at Malaybalay Polymedic General Hospital due to knee swelling. Despite the injury, he assured supporters that he’s doing well and it’s nothing serious. By the way, x-ray turned out to be negative. The ride continues with nearly 1,000 participants promoting tourism, responsible riding, and camaraderie across Northern Mindanao.
