The Philippine Army and the Australian Army kicked off Kasangga 2025-1, their first joint training in Mindanao, during an opening ceremony at Camp Evangelista, Cagayan de Oro City on May 19, 2025. The exercise brings together three platoons from the Philippine Army’s 4th and 10th Infantry Divisions and the Combat Engineer Regiment, alongside their Australian counterparts. Training will run from May 19 to June 24 at Camp Kibaritan in Kalilangan, Bukidnon, home of the Mindanao Army Training Group.
