Take a look at this historic video showing the 108th Regiment landing at Macajalar Bay—near present-day Tin-ao in Barangay Agusan, Cagayan de Oro City—on May 10, 1945, during World War II. These landings were part of the Victor V-A Operations that played a crucial role in liberating the city from Japanese occupation by May 12, 1945, a date now commemorated as Cagayan de Oro Liberation Day.
