ELECTION WATCH: Voters surprised to find registration photos displayed at polling precincts

Some voters were surprised to find their registration photos posted at their polling precincts during today’s elections. According to reports, COMELEC used the photos—taken during registration—as an added security measure to verify voter identity and help prevent fraud. It’s the first time voter photos have been publicly displayed, leaving some amused or caught off guard, especially as many of the images were taken nearly a decade ago and no longer resemble their current appearance.
