President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. officially turned over 91 brand new Patient Transport Vehicles (PTVs) to local government units (LGUs) in Northern Mindanao and Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) during a ceremony held today, April 22, 2025, at the Pelaez Sports Complex in Cagayan de Oro City. Of the total, 85 units were designated for Northern Mindanao and six for BARMM. Notably, 68 LGUs received PTVs for the first time, marking a significant step in strengthening local healthcare mobility and emergency response.
