The new Igpit Bridge, a segment of the 4-lane, 6.74-kilometer Opol-Canitoan Diversion Road, is now nearing completion. It spans the Igpit-Youngsville Road and Bungcalalan River in Opol, Misamis Oriental. This major alternate road connects Poblacion, Opol and Canitoan, Cagayan de Oro City, allowing motorists to bypass the congested intersections in Bulua and Iponan.
