Construction of a pedestrian overpass along Masterson Avenue, near Stonestown Suites in Uptown Cagayan de Oro, is set to begin soon with the project billboard now installed onsite. The P24.132 million project was awarded to a joint venture between Lanao Builder and Enterprises and Red Construction Technik. The overpass aims to improve pedestrian safety and ease traffic congestion in the area, which continues to grow with new commercial establishments, residential subdivisions, and schools. Completion is targeted for October this year. This will be the second overpass in Uptown CDO, with a third planned near Corpus Christi Uptown.

Expect more traffic in the area when heavy equipment starts to operate.
