The Department of Energy (DOE) has granted a grid impact study for the proposed 68-MW Jasaan Solar Power Plant Project in Misamis Oriental. Said project will be endorsed to the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) to assess whether the power grid can accommodate the additional capacity. Otherwise, NGCP will determine if any refurbishments are needed for its transmission lines, transformers, or substations.
