Two female Grade 9 students from a private university in Cagayan de Oro were rescued by the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) hours after jumping off Marcos Bridge shortly after 6:00 PM tonight, March 17. According to radio reports, the students, still wearing their PE uniforms, were found by responders in a grassy area along the riverside in Barangay Kauswagan. They were initially taken to the PCG Auxiliary Group Headquarters before being transported to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center for medical evaluation. Police are still investigating the incident.
