Today, March 12, 2025, the groundbreaking ceremony for the new El Salvador City Infirmary was officially held at its proposed site at Zone 1, Poblacion. City Mayor Edgar S. Lignes along with other city officials led the milestone event for the planned two-storey 47-bed capacity infirmary with a fully-equipped emergency room and a comfortable outpatient clinic, and an operating room-ready facility. With a budget of ₱80 million, the project marks a significant step in the city’s ongoing efforts to provide better medical services to the community.
