The P2.5 billion mixed-use development within the Misamis Oriental Provincial Capitol Compound in Cagayan de Oro City is set to break ground this quarter. This was revealed by 2nd District Board Member Gerardo “Boboy” Sabal III, during the weekly online program “Pamilyang Misamisnon Unahon.” This follows the formal signing of the Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) between the Provincial Government of Misamis Oriental and A Brown Co., Inc., (ABCI) on January 23, 2025. Preparations are now underway, with the site set to be cleared for the groundbreaking ceremony.

The initial phase will involve the construction of a mid-rise building which will house a dormitory for government student scholars, commercial and office spaces. The second phase will involve the high-rise condominium project.
