Iligan City’s Task Force against OSAEC (Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children) arrested a 31-year old mother for allegedly offering to livestream the sexual abuse of her seven-year old daughter in exchange for money. Operatives rescued the child removed six other children at risk, aged one to 11, from the suspect’s home following an entrapment operation and execution of a cyber warrant on Wednesday morning, February 5, in Brgy. Tipanoy, Iligan City. The operation came after a three-week investigation.
Additionally, a 22-year-old woman, falsely presented as a minor during online surveillance by the Task Force, was also removed from the house. Key evidence, including mobile phones and a USB flash drive, were recovered. The rescued children, along with the adult victim, were turned over to CSWD Children’s Assessment and Processing Center for aftercare and support.
